In a world where time is a precious commodity and convenience often reigns supreme, mastering the art of meal prep can be a game-changer.   1. CHOOSE YOUR RECIPES
    Search, pin or use recipes you know your family will eat and enjoy. Don’t feel obliged to always cook something new, think about meals you’ve cooked in the past that were a hit and add them to your Master Meals List.
  2. WRITE YOUR GROCERY LIST
    Using the recipes you recorded above, sort your ingredients into a list (either written or digital). Categorize them to make it easier when you go into the grocery store. Think by aisle or item: proteins, produce etc.
  3. GO GROCERY SHOPPING OR HAVE IT DELIVERED
    Grocery shopping is my least favorite chore but if I make an organized, efficient list and shop during downtimes, it does make it bearable. When I used to make lists (before Meal Prep Menus did it for me!), I would copy & paste all ingredients and then go through my kitchen and cross off any items that I already had.
  4. CHOOSE YOUR ‘PREP’ DAY
    Before you start prepping (or even shopping), figure out the best day for you to prepare the week/month meals. Choose a day where you have the least amount of distractions or commitments. Sundays are popular, especially if you have a Monday-Friday workweek, but choose what’s best for you! If you prep well, it shouldn’t take more than an hour or so TOTAL!
